Product Description
The Datavideo PTC-140T is a remarkable PTZ camera that offers outstanding flexibility and performance. Instead of using multiple cables for video, power, and camera control, it can do all with a single Ethernet cable when paired with the RMC-180 Controller. This not only cuts down setup time significantly but also allows you to mount the camera in tricky spots, such as areas without nearby power outlets. It features a 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensor, delivering 1920x1080px Full HD resolution at 60fps. Its advanced digital noise reduction ensures clear and smooth images even in less-than-ideal lighting. The RMC-180, with its ergonomic joystick and tactile buttons, makes it a breeze to set up and control up to four Datavideo PTC-140T cameras for live video production. The RMC-300A can control up to 24 PTC-140 cameras and has preset memory for easy operation. You can also control up to four cameras via a Wireless Touch Screen and monitor the live video. The app can control up to 4 cameras simultaneously, allowing you to set and recall presets and adjust white balance, focus, and IRIS intuitively. Technical specifications include a wide range of video formats, a high-quality image sensor, and excellent performance in terms of noise ratio, illumination, and zoom. It also offers various control options, video and audio compression formats, and connectivity features. The camera comes in dark blue or white and includes essential accessories in the box.
Using the Datavideo PTC-140T camera is quite straightforward. First, connect it to a power source using the provided DC 12V power adaptor and power cord. Then, connect it to your network using the Ethernet cable. If you're using the RMC-180 Controller, pair it with the camera for easy control. To set up the camera's position and settings, you can use the joystick and buttons on the controller or the app. You can adjust parameters like white balance, focus, and IRIS to get the best image quality. When using the camera, make sure the operating temperature is within the range of 0 - 40 °C. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or extreme humidity. For maintenance, keep the camera lens clean using a soft, dry cloth. If there's dust inside the camera, you can use compressed air to blow it out gently. Periodically check the connections to ensure they are secure. Also, make sure to update the camera's firmware regularly via Ethernet to get the latest features and improvements.
