Product Description

The Intelix INT-HDXL100-RX is a top - notch HDBaseT extender receiver. It uses the Valens VS100RX HDBaseT chip to extend HDMI over a single solid - core shielded Category 5e or better cable. This device supports 1080p video signals up to 150 meters, along with multichannel audio and HDCP 1.4/2.2. With built - in surge protection and diagnostic LEDs, it ensures easy and reliable installations. Key features include power over HDBaseT (PoH), bidirectional IR and RS232, and Ethernet pass - through via a 2 - port network switch. The flexible power design lets you power the INT-HDXL100 series at either the TX or RX end, and only one power supply (included) is needed. The bidirectional capabilities make it compatible with most control systems. Note that the IR emitter and receiver are sold separately. The two - port network switch allows a second device to share the Ethernet connection without extra hardware. It's only compatible with HDBaseT devices in Long Reach mode, like Intelix's INT - HDXL100 and DIGI - HDXL series.

Using the Intelix INT-HDXL100-RX is quite straightforward. First, connect it to a single solid - core shielded Category 5e or better cable. Make sure to connect the cable properly to ensure the best signal transmission. You can power the device at either the TX or RX end, but remember only one power supply is needed, and it comes with the extender. When using the bidirectional IR and RS232 features, connect the relevant devices as required. If you want to share the Ethernet connection, use the 2 - port network switch on the receiver. For the IR function, keep in mind that the emitter and receiver are sold separately, so you'll need to purchase them if you need this feature. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the diagnostic LEDs. If there are any issues with the surge protection, it might be a sign of a problem. Also, keep the device in a dry and clean environment to ensure its long - term performance. And always use it with other HDBaseT devices that operate in Long Reach mode, like the INT - HDXL100 and DIGI - HDXL series products by Intelix.
