Product Description

The KanexPro SDI - SDHDXPRO is a top - notch SDI to HDMI converter, designed to seamlessly connect your professional SDI video gear to any HDMI display or consumer TV. It takes in SD, HD, or 3G - SDI signals and converts them to HDMI, keeping the original image's signal integrity and resolution intact. This converter comes with two SDI loop outputs, allowing you to send re - clocked SDI signals and connect to downstream equipment. Ideal for surveillance systems, rental and staging facilities, post - production, TV studios, digital cinemas, and other A/V applications. Key features include high - quality 3G - SDI to HDMI conversion, 2 SDI loop outputs, support for 2 - channel audio, automatic switching between SD, HD, and 3G - SDI standards, and compatibility with multiple video resolutions. It has a compact size, perfect for mobile broadcasting units. The micro - USB port enables firmware updates, and it comes with a locking power supply and mounting ears. An RG59 cable is needed for SDI transmission, and we suggest a 75 - ohm high - quality coaxial cable.

Using the KanexPro SDI - SDHDXPRO is easy. First, connect your professional SDI video equipment to the SDI input on the converter using an RG59 cable (we recommend a 75 - ohm high - quality coaxial cable). Then, connect the HDMI output of the converter to your HDMI display or TV. The converter will automatically detect and switch between SD, HD, and 3G - SDI standards. When it comes to power, use the provided 5V DC power supply, as the converter requires an external power supply of 5V - 12V. For firmware updates, simply connect your device to the micro - USB port. As for maintenance, keep the converter in a dry place with an operating temperature between 0°C and +70°C and an operating humidity of 10% to 85% RH (no condensation). During storage, the temperature should be between - 10°C and +80°C with a humidity of 5% to 90% RH (no condensation). Also, make sure to check the power supply and cables regularly for any signs of damage.
