Product Description

The Matrox ConvertIP DRH is a compact, stand - alone ST 2110 and IPMX transmitter and receiver device. Ideal for 1G AV workflows, it offers an ultra - low latency experience. With HDMI I/O and three RJ45 ports on a single unit, it's a great choice for high - quality signal transmission. It can be powered via Ethernet over its RJ45 connection or an optional power supply unit, and you can use both for power redundancy. This device is rack - mountable, allowing you to install up to two units horizontally in a single U of rack space. It has a whisper - quiet operation, perfect for control rooms and operation centers that need a noise level of 25 dB or less. Key features include multi - network support, a fanless design for quiet cooling, and high - quality transmission with the Colibri codec. Optional features like the JPEG XS codec license, VESA mounting bracket, and rack - mountable power supply add to its versatility. You also get the ConvertIP Command Center web interface for free device management and can opt for the Matrox ConductIP software license for discovery and routing. Its compact form makes it easy to mount behind a monitor.

Using the Matrox ConvertIP DRH is quite straightforward. First, connect your HDMI devices to the HDMI I/O ports. Then, use the RJ45 ports to set up the network connection. You can choose to power the device through the Ethernet cable or use the optional power supply unit. For added reliability, use both power sources. When mounting, you can install it in a rack horizontally, up to two units per U of rack space. Or, if you prefer, use the optional VESA bracket to mount it behind a monitor. As for maintenance, since it has a fanless design, there's less to worry about in terms of dust buildup. But it's still a good idea to keep it in a clean environment. In case of a power failure, the redundant power options should keep it running. Make sure to check the power supply regularly to ensure it's functioning properly. If you want to manage the device, use the free ConvertIP Command Center web interface. And if you need discovery and routing features, consider getting the optional Matrox ConductIP software license.
