Product Description

The Matrox ConvertIP DSS is a sleek, standalone ST 2110 and IPMX transmitter/receiver. It's a powerhouse in a compact design, with 12G-SDI, genlock, one RJ45, and two SFP28 ports all on a single device. This setup supports compressed or uncompressed workflows up to 25G, offering an ultra - low latency experience. You can power it via Ethernet through the RJ45 or use an optional power supply unit, and both can work together for power redundancy. It's rack - mountable, fitting up to two devices horizontally in a single U of rack space. With its whisper - quiet operation, it's perfect for control rooms and other noise - sensitive environments. Matrox also provides rack - mounted redundant power supply units to keep your device running without interruption. Key features include SDI I/O, multi - network support, a fanless design for quiet cooling, and much more. It can transmit or receive signals from one device, delivering low latency and top - notch 4K image quality.

Using the Matrox ConvertIP DSS is straightforward. First, connect your SDI sources to the appropriate SDI ports. If you want to use the network features, connect the RJ45 for 1G network support or the SFP28 ports for 10G and 25G network support. You can power the device either through the RJ45 using PoE+ or with the optional power supply cable. For rack mounting, you can install up to two devices horizontally in a single U of rack space. If you choose to mount it behind a monitor, use the optional VESA mounting bracket. When it comes to maintenance, since it has a fanless design, there's no need to worry about cleaning fans. However, it's a good idea to keep the device in a clean and well - ventilated area. In case of a power issue, the redundant power options will keep your device running. If you want to manage the device, use the ConvertIP Command Center web interface. And if you need discovery and routing features, consider getting the optional Matrox ConductIP software license.
