Product Description

The Studio Technologies Model 5682-02 is a top-notch solution for connecting SMPTE ST 2110 audio channels to Dante audio-over-Ethernet channels. It bridges ST 2110 and Dante audio signals across separate local area networks. Adhering to SMPTE ST 2110-30 for PCM audio and ST 2110-10 for signal timing, it's also compatible with Dante Domain Manager (DDM) software and meets the AES67 interoperability standard. With support for up to 64 audio channels, it maintains audio integrity via internal sample rate conversion. The device suits ST 2110-compliant audio channels and is widely used in Dante applications. It has three Gigabit Ethernet connections for each ST 2110 and Dante interface. Front-panel indicators, an LCD, and pushbuttons make monitoring and configuration easy. Configuration support for the ST 2110 interface includes NMOS, ANEMAN, and JSON formats. It can be powered by 100 - 240 V, 50/60 Hz or 12 volts DC, with redundant power option. Designed for professional use, it's rack-mountable, operates 24/7, and meets industry reliability and performance standards. Key features include support for SMPTE standards, Dante compatibility, 64-channel handling, integrated SRC, multiple Ethernet interfaces, dual power options, easy monitoring, and a lightweight 1RU enclosure.

Using the Studio Technologies Model 5682-02 is straightforward. First, connect it to your ST 2110 and Dante networks using the provided Gigabit Ethernet ports. Make sure to choose the appropriate power source, either AC mains (100 - 240 V, 50/60 Hz) or DC (10 - 16 V). You can use the front-panel indicators, LCD display, and pushbuttons to monitor the device's status and make configuration adjustments. For the ST 2110 interface, you can use NMOS, ANEMAN, or JSON formats for configuration. When it comes to maintenance, keep the device in a clean and dry environment. The operating temperature should be between 32 and 122 degrees F, and the storage temperature between -40 and 158 degrees F. The humidity should be between 5 and 95%, non-condensing. Also, use the USB ports only for firmware updating. If you need to power it with DC, connect it using the 4-pin male XLR connector. With proper use and maintenance, this device will provide reliable performance for your audio networking needs.
