Product Description

The Zigen ZIG-HVX-70 is an outstanding HDbase-T transmitter/receiver extender kit. It enables long-distance transmission of HDMI video, embedded audio, and bi-directional control signals over a single CAT 5/6 type cable. Whether used as a point-to-point solution or integrated with Matrix switching equipment, it can extend inputs or outputs to remote locations. This set supports simultaneous transmission of bi-directional RS-232 and IR signals from a control system, allowing you to remotely control source equipment or displays. Key features include HDBaseT technology, support for HDMI 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4 with 48-bit deep color, multiple 4K/2K formats, a wide range of digital video formats, various audio formats, all frequency band IR control, dual voltage IR support, bi-directional RS-232 transfer, CEC pass-through, and the ability to extend HDMI signals up to 70m/230ft using a single cat5/6 cable.

Using the Zigen ZIG-HVX-70 is quite easy. First, connect the transmitter to your source device with an HDMI cable. Then, connect the receiver to your display device in the same way. Next, use a single CAT 5/6 cable to link the transmitter and the receiver. You can control the source equipment or displays remotely by setting up the bi - directional RS - 232 and IR signals through the control system. When it comes to maintenance, keep the extender set in a dry and cool place. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or high - humidity environments. Make sure the cables are well - connected and not damaged. If you notice any problems, check the connections first. If the issue persists, contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
