Product Description

The Zoom AMS-24 is an ideal audio interface for solo streams and multi-instrument sessions. It comes with two XLR/TRS combo inputs and Zoom's low-noise preamps, ensuring high-quality audio capture. There are also two headphone outputs and two TRS outputs for external monitors. The AMS-24 and AMS-44 simplify common streaming challenges with onboard hardware switches, no extra software needed. Use the Music/Streaming Switch to toggle between recording and livestreaming. In Music mode, each input has individual gain control and sends separate mixes to headphone outputs. In Streaming mode, all inputs combine into one signal for seamless use with streaming software. The Direct Monitor Switch lets you send the input signal directly to headphones while routing it to your DAW or streaming software. The Loopback Switch combines input audio with computer playback, perfect for adding background music or singing with an instrumental track. Technical specs include multiple input and output channels, a variety of connectors, wide frequency response, and more. It supports multiple power sources like 2 AA batteries, AC adapter, and USB bus power.

Using the Zoom AMS-24 is easy. First, connect your instruments or microphones to the XLR/TRS combo inputs. If you're using a microphone that needs phantom power, make sure to turn it on. For headphones, you can use the two headphone outputs, and for external monitors, use the TRS outputs. When you want to switch between recording and livestreaming, just use the Music/Streaming Switch. In Music mode, you have more control over each input. In Streaming mode, all inputs are combined for easier use with your streaming software. To monitor the input signal directly in your headphones, use the Direct Monitor Switch. If you want to add background music to your stream, use the Loopback Switch. When it comes to power, you can use 2 AA batteries, an AC adapter, or USB bus power. Make sure to use a USB cable that supports data transfer. For battery operation, keep in mind that the continuous operation time may vary depending on usage. To maintain your AMS-24, keep it clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you're not using it for a long time, store it in a safe place.
