Product Description

The Blackmagic Design Media Dock is a must - have for post - production and media professionals. With four 10G Ethernet ports, it enables high - speed network sharing and uploading directly from up to three Blackmagic Media Modules of Blackmagic URSA Cine cameras. You can connect four separate editing stations and edit directly from any of them, which greatly boosts efficiency. This media dock offers more than just network sharing. It has Ethernet over USB - C for flexible connectivity, dual AC power inputs for backup and less downtime, and an HDMI output for real - time media monitoring on TVs or monitors, streamlining your workflow. Key features include high - speed sharing from 3 media modules, connection to 4 edit stations, versatile connectivity, power redundancy, and live monitoring. Its specifications cover various aspects like connections, ports, software compatibility, and power supply. The package includes the media dock, a welcome wallet for software download, and a 12 - month warranty.

Using the Blackmagic Design Media Dock is easy. First, connect your Blackmagic Media Modules to the dock. You can use up to three of them. Then, connect your editing stations to the four 10G Ethernet ports to start high - speed sharing and direct editing. If you want to use Ethernet over USB - C, simply connect your device to the USB - C port. For power, plug it into a power source using the IEC C14 mains input. You have dual AC power inputs, so you can keep it running even if one fails. To monitor your media in real - time, connect an external TV or monitor to the HDMI output. When it comes to software, use the included Blackmagic Cloud Setup Utility and Blackmagic Proxy Generator Lite. You can update the internal software via the Blackmagic Cloud Setup using the USB - C port. Make sure your operating system is Mac 14.3 Sonoma or later, Windows 10 (64 - bit), or Windows 11. As for maintenance, keep it in an environment with a temperature between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius (32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) and relative humidity of 0% to 90% non - condensing.
