Product Description

The Digital Forecast Bridge EX HVDA is a remarkable multi-rate HD/SD SDI VDA equipped with reclocking. It's a multi-rate 3G/HD/SD serial digital video distribution amplifier with reclocking. It takes a single HD/SD SDI input signal that complies with SMPTE 125M, SMPTE 296M, SMPTE 274M, and SMPTE 425M and outputs eight HD/SD SDI signals. With a built-in reclocking and equalizing circuit, it's perfect for long-distance distribution. Key features include support for multiple SMPTE standards, reclocked SDI output, multi-rate SDI support (143M, 177M, 270M, 340M, 540M, 1.485G, 1.485/1.001G), 1 in x 8 out HD/SD-SDI configuration, auto equalizing, and great compensation ability (up to 100m for HD grade and up to 300m for SD with Belden 1694 Cable).

Using this product is quite straightforward. First, connect your HD/SD SDI input source to the single input port of the device. The input should follow the SMPTE 125M, SMPTE 296M, SMPTE 274M, or SMPTE 425M standards. Then, you can connect up to eight devices to the output ports to receive the HD/SD SDI signals. When using it for long-distance distribution, the built - in reclocking and equalizing circuits will do their job to ensure stable signal transmission. Just make sure your cables, like the Belden 1694 Cable, are properly connected. As for maintenance, keep the device in a clean and dry environment. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. Regularly check the connections to make sure they are secure. If you notice any signal issues, first check the cables and connections. If the problem persists, it might be a device - related issue, and you should contact customer support.
