Product Description

Primacoustic's absorptive acoustic clouds are a stylish and unnoticeable choice for reducing reverberations and enhancing intelligibility in any space. These clouds come in various unique shapes and sizes, giving architects, designers, and installers the chance to offer clients creative, bold, and architecturally appealing solutions. Designed to hang from the ceiling, they absorb ambient sound energy when it hits the panel's front and trap strong ceiling reflections on the back. They can also serve as baffles or wall panels depending on the need. The Primacoustic Acoustic Cloud range includes circular Halo, hexagonal Hexus, square Altos, and rectangular Nimbus. All panels are made of 1.5 - inch (3.8 cm) thick, high - density 6 lb per cubic foot (96 kg/m³) glass wool for excellent and even sound absorption. Each panel is fully enclosed in micromesh with resin - hardened edges. You can choose between the Broadway acoustically transparent fabric covering or Primacoustic's proprietary paintable Absolute White finish. This paintable textured surface allows you to spray - paint the panels on - site to match the surrounding decor without affecting the acoustic performance. Like all Primacoustic panels, these clouds are laboratory - tested for acoustic performance and fire safety, meeting the strict Class - A/1 rating in North America and Class - B in Europe, making them safe for all installations. They can be horizontally suspended from the ceiling in places like restaurants, lobbies, and gymnasiums for discreet acoustic treatment. Installation is a breeze as each kit includes two high - density glass wool panels and the necessary hardware for horizontal suspension. You can also wall - mount them using Surface Impalers or install them as vertically hanging baffles with Corkscrew anchors (sold separately). Key features include high - performance ceiling clouds in various shapes and sizes, elimination of excessive room echo and reverb for better clarity, seamless blending with the room's decor, and easy installation on any ceiling with all required hardware provided. Technical specifications: Finish can be fabric or paintable Absolute White; Thickness is 1.5 inches (38 mm); Core Material is formed, semi - rigid inorganic glass fibers, 6.0 lbs pcf (96 kg/m³); Edge Treatment is sealed and hardened with resin; Fabric Facing is acoustically transparent polyester or paintable glass wool tissue micromesh sealed with latex paint; Mounting includes Helix, SlipNot, Eye - Hook, and Drywall Anchors; Recycled Content is up to 51%.

Using these Primacoustic acoustic clouds is easy. If you want to install them horizontally from the ceiling, just use the hardware that comes with the kit. You can put them in places like restaurants, lobbies, or gyms to reduce echo and make the space sound better. For wall - mounting, you'll need Surface Impalers. And if you want to install them as vertically hanging baffles, you'll have to buy Corkscrew anchors separately. When it comes to maintenance, these clouds are quite durable. Since they have a paintable finish, you can touch up the color if it fades over time. Just make sure to use a light spray paint so it doesn't affect the acoustic performance. Also, keep them away from sharp objects to avoid damaging the panels. And remember, they've been tested for fire safety, but it's still a good idea to keep them in a safe environment.
