Using the Zoom H4N PRO is a breeze. First, insert two standard AA alkaline or NiMH rechargeable batteries. Then, insert an SD or SDHC card (up to 32 GB) to start recording. You can adjust the built-in X/Y stereo microphones between 90 and 120 degrees according to your needs. For different input sources, use the XLR/TRS combo connector or the stereo 1/8' Mic In mini phone jack. You can also use the +24 or +48V phantom power for main inputs or the Plug-in power (2.5V) via the Mic/Line In mini phone jack. When recording, you can mark important points, use built-in effects, and adjust playback speed and pitch. To transfer files to your computer, use the USB port. As for maintenance, keep the recorder clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If the display gets dirty, gently wipe it with a soft cloth.
