Product Description

The AtlasIED TSD-ALC2 is a top - notch automatic 2 - channel audio level controller and limiter. It empowers designers and installers to set preset maximum source levels. Ideal for setups with multiple program sources like satellite receivers and mp3 players that often have inconsistent output levels. When the TSD - ALC2 is integrated into the system, audiences won't be bothered by loud commercial breaks or when switching inputs. Retail stores, restaurants, sports bars, hotels, and event centers can all enjoy enhanced sound quality. Key features include stereo auto - level control, unbalanced RCA input and output, adjustable threshold levels, selectable ramp speed, output gain control, security covers for front - panel controls, energy efficiency, a compact chassis design, and a separately sold power supply. Technical specs: Input is (2) unbalanced RCA for left and right. Output impedance is 150 unbalanced. Output level is adjustable from 0V - 1.4V with a hard limit. There's an input level attenuator with a removable knob and security cover. Indicators show input (green), input peak (red), ALC active (yellow), and power (blue). It consumes 1.4 watts, has an aluminum chassis in black color, a height of 1.5' (39mm), and a depth of 2.75' (70mm).

Using the Atlas Sound TSD - ALC2 is easy. First, connect your audio sources to the unbalanced RCA inputs. You can then set the threshold level according to your needs using the adjustment feature. Select the ramp speed that suits your audio setup. Control the output gain to get the desired volume. Remember, the power supply is sold separately, so make sure to have it ready and connect it properly. When it comes to maintenance, keep the unit clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the chassis. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. Check the security covers on the front - panel controls regularly to ensure they are in place. If you notice any issues with the indicators or the audio quality, double - check your connections and settings.
