Product Description

The Aviom D400 Dante Distributor is a remarkable device that connects to a Dante digital audio network. It allows up to 32 channels to be directly sent from the Dante audio network to A320 and A360 Personal Mixers. You can select any 32 Dante channels from the Dante network using the Dante Controller software. Key features include direct connectivity to the Dante audio network, support for up to 32 Dante network channels, distribution of power and audio to up to eight A320 and A360 Personal Mixers, one unpowered Pro16e A - Net Out for thru connections, and Stereo Link DIP switches that simplify stereo channel assignments. The technical specs are also great. The Dante Interface has 32 channels (44.1/48kHz Sample Rate only), with RJ45 connectors for both primary and secondary I/O. The Dante LEDs show network activity (green) and 1GB network connection active (yellow). It supports static IP and AES67. Measuring 19' (482.6 mm) wide x 7.25' (182 mm) deep, 2U, 3.5' (88.9 mm) high and weighing 12.0 lbs (5.44 kg), it's a reliable choice for audio setups.

Using the Aviom D400 Dante Distributor is easy. First, connect it to your Dante audio network using the RJ45 connectors. Then, use the Dante Controller software to select the 32 channels you want to send to your A320 or A360 Personal Mixers. You can connect up to eight of these mixers to get power and audio from the distributor. If you need to make thru connections, use the unpowered Pro16e A - Net Out. When setting up stereo channels, use the Stereo Link DIP switches to simplify the process. As for maintenance, keep it in a clean and dry place. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you notice any issues with the network activity LEDs or the device isn't working properly, check the connections and make sure the software is up - to - date. Also, follow the guidelines for static IP and AES67 settings provided by the manufacturer to ensure smooth operation.
