While traditional E3 coax cabling is limited to 1100ft (335m), the multimode optics on this unit can extend the distance to 2km, and singlemode optics can reach up to 20km. Key features include a data rate of 34.368 Mbps, compliance with ITU - T G.703, ITU - T G.823, and ITU - T G.775 for loss of signal.
