Product Description
The IPLinx IPEX2001 is a powerful HDMI over IP encoder that offers a scalable 1080P solution. It can transmit HDMI video and audio over a gigabit IP network using H.264 AVC encoding, with a data rate reaching up to 30 Mbps. It supports video signals up to 1920x1200 at 60 Hz. You'll get two video streams: a large one at the native content resolution and a smaller 352x288 stream at 5 Hz for easy previews on PC software or an iPad. There's an analog audio output port that extracts audio from HDMI content while still streaming it with the video. It supports PoE, allowing remote powering from compatible sources like a PoE Ethernet switch, so you don't need a nearby power outlet. You can adjust the encoding bit rate and quality. The RS232 port can control third - party devices like projectors. One complete IPLinx 2000 series system needs one IPEXCB control interface regardless of the number of encoders or decoders. Free 3rd party control drivers are available for download. It has various technical specifications including multiple video resolutions, color depths, and supports different audio formats.
Using the IPLinx IPEX2001 is easy. First, connect it to your HDMI source for video and audio input. Then, link it to a gigabit IP network using a Category 5e or better cable. If you're using PoE, make sure your power source equipment like a PoE Ethernet switch is compatible. For encoding, you can adjust the bit rate and quality according to your needs. You can view a preview of the content on PC software or an iPad using the smaller video stream. When controlling a third - party device like a projector, use the RS232 port. As for maintenance, keep it in a clean and dry place. Make sure the network connection is stable. Check the power supply regularly if you're not using PoE. And remember, one complete IPLinx 2000 series system always needs an IPEXCB control interface.
