Product Description
The Lumantek Mini BAT Series SDI 6 Distributor is a high - performance device. It offers great electrical specifications. For input, it can handle different SDI cable lengths. With a Belden 1694A cable, SD - SDI can reach up to 250m, HD - SDI up to 170m, and 3G - SDI up to 155m. The RF input has a 75 - ohm, 1 x BNC type female connector. The display can detect input SDI, showing SD in green and HD/3G in yellow. On the output side, it has excellent rise/fall times and peck - to - peck voltage swing. The rise/fall time for SD - SDI is 600ps (20 - 80%), and for HD - SDI and 3G - SDI, it's 100ps. The peck - to - peck voltage swing for SD/HD/3G - SDI is between 720 - 880 mVpp, with overshoot/undershoot in the range of - 10 to + 10%. It also has a 75 - ohm, 1 x BNC type female connector for RF output. In general, it runs on a DC input power of 7 - 18V and has a lowest power consumption of 2W, making it energy - efficient.
Using this Lumantek Mini BAT Series SDI 6 Distributor is easy. First, connect the SDI input cable according to the type (SD - SDI, HD - SDI, or 3G - SDI) and make sure the cable length doesn't exceed the specified limits. Then, connect the RF input using the 75 - ohm BNC type female connector. When the device is powered on, you can check the input SDI status through the display. For output, connect your devices to the appropriate output ports. Remember to use a DC power supply with a voltage between 7 and 18V. Try to keep the power supply stable to avoid any malfunctions. As for maintenance, keep the device in a clean and dry environment. Periodically check the connectors for any signs of damage or looseness. If you notice any issues with the electrical performance, like incorrect rise/fall times or voltage swings, it might be a good idea to consult a professional technician.
