Using the RDL D - NMC1 is quite easy. First, make sure it's properly connected to the digital network using the RJ45 connector. You can then start the setup process through a web - browser session hosted by the device. Customize the screen menus and function names according to your needs during this setup. To select a source, just use the menu buttons on the device. It allows you to choose from up to 8 Dante devices, depending on your product's compatibility. When it comes to volume adjustment, you can either adjust a group of outputs or individual ones. Use the level adjustment buttons for this. There's also a convenient mute button on the device. If you set up multiple NMC1 units, decide whether each one will be a Controller or a Satellite. Controllers will manage requests from Satellites. Remember, the display will dim when not in use and light up when you press a button. If you set functions to auto - lock after 30 seconds of inactivity, keep in mind you'll need to use the programmed unlock sequence to access them again. For maintenance, keep the device in an environment between 0 to 40 degrees Celsius, with 30 degrees Celsius being the recommended maximum. It's powered by PoE, so make sure your network supports PoE Class 0, IEEE 802.3af. The device mounts in a standard US electrical box, and if you need a cover plate, it's available separately.
