Using the Tascam DP-006 is a breeze. First, insert the SD/SDHC card into the recorder. You can use the built-in microphones for quick recordings. Just turn on the recorder and start capturing your vocals or acoustic guitar. If you want to use an external microphone or guitar, connect them to the analog inputs. For longer battery life, you can connect an external battery pack (TASCAM BP-6AA) via USB. When recording, you can select the microphone sensitivity from three positions (Low/Mid/High). Use the independent LEVEL/PAN(BALANCE) knobs for each track to adjust the sound. You can also use the chromatic tuner and metronome to keep your music in tune. To transfer your recordings, connect the recorder to your PC via USB2.0. You can backup and restore songs, and import/export files in Wav format. Remember to handle the SD/SDHC card carefully.
