Product Description

The Zoom AMS-44 is an excellent audio interface for both recording and streaming. It simplifies your setup with four XLR/TRS combo inputs and Zoom's high - performance, low - noise preamps. There are two headphone outputs and two TRS outputs for external monitors. The AMS - 44 and AMS - 24 are designed to tackle common streaming challenges without extra software, thanks to their onboard hardware switches. Use the Music/Streaming Switch to easily switch between recording and livestreaming. In Music mode, each input has individual gain control and sends separate mixes to headphone outputs. In Streaming mode, all inputs combine into one signal for seamless use with streaming software. The Direct Monitor Switch lets you send the input signal directly to headphones while routing it to your DAW or streaming software. The Loopback Switch combines input audio with computer playback, great for adding background music or singing with an instrumental track. Technical specs include 4 mono input channels, 1 stereo TRS output channel, and 2 stereo headphone output channels. It has XLR/TRS combo jacks, supports USB Type - C for audio and power, and offers multiple power options like 2 AA batteries, an AC adapter, or USB bus power.

Using the Zoom AMS - 44 is a breeze. First, connect your audio sources to the XLR/TRS combo inputs. You can use the Music/Streaming Switch to decide whether you're recording or streaming. For recording, each input has its own gain control, so you can adjust the sound as you like. When it's time to stream, all inputs will combine into one signal for your streaming software. To hear the direct input in your headphones while sending the signal to your DAW or streaming software, just flip the Direct Monitor Switch. If you want to add background music or sing along with an instrumental track, use the Loopback Switch. When it comes to power, you have options. You can use 2 AA batteries, an AC adapter, or USB bus power. If you're using batteries, keep in mind that the continuous operation time varies. Alkaline batteries last about 3 hours, NiMH about 4.5 hours, and lithium about 8.5 hours, but this can change based on how you use it. Make sure to use a USB cable that supports data transfer. And when it's not in use, store it in a dry and clean place to keep it in good condition. If you want to clean it, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the surface.
