Product Description

The pre - owned Rolls MS111 is an outstanding microphone muting switch. It shows minimal signs of use, so it's in great condition. This general - purpose switch is a gem for microphone setups. It smoothly passes phantom power without any popping on the outputs, ensuring a clean audio signal. You can configure it easily. There's a second switch on the side that lets you choose between Push to Mute or release to Mute. The mute switch can be set to Momentary (refer to the manual), though it comes set to latching from the factory. Note that it only works with balanced signals. Key features include passing phantom power, having balanced female XLR input and male XLR output jacks. The activation switch offers flexibility, being either latching or momentary mute. The switch is reversible, so the 'Up' position can either turn the mic on or off. It can also be stand - mounted using the Rolls MSC106 mic mount accessory. Technical specs: Input/Output Impedance is 600 Ohms, it has 2 XLR connections (1 male, 1 female), size is 2.5” W x 2” H x 3” D, and it weighs 1 lb.

Using the Rolls MS111 is a breeze. First, connect your microphone to the female XLR input and the output device to the male XLR output. Before you start, make sure your audio signals are balanced as this switch only works with balanced ones. To mute or unmute, use the activation switch. You can set it to your preferred mode, either latching or momentary, by following the instructions in the manual. The switch on the side allows you to choose between Push to Mute or release to Mute. As for the 'Up' position of the activation switch, you can decide whether it turns the mic on or off. When using it, keep in mind that it passes phantom power, so ensure your setup is compatible. To keep it in good shape, avoid exposing it to excessive dust, moisture, or physical shocks. Clean it gently with a dry cloth if it gets dirty. And don't forget to check the connections regularly to make sure everything is secure.
