Product Description

Like New: This open - box product shows no signs of use. The Rolls RM82 is an outstanding eight - channel mixer that fits in a single rack space. It's perfect for various sound reinforcement needs such as board rooms, churches, and expanding mixing consoles. When you need to mix up to eight microphones in a limited space, the RM82 is your go - to solution. Each of the eight channels comes with an XLR microphone input and a 1/4” unbalanced input. The 1/4” jacks can be reconfigured inside to serve as channel Inserts or Direct Outputs. Inserts are great for processing individual channel signals, while Direct Outputs let you take just the channel's signal. Every channel has individually switchable +48 VDC phantom power. The RCA Prefade (pre - Master Level) Output can be connected to the RCA Aux Buss Input to cascade two RM82 units. This output is also useful for recording and monitoring. The main output is a balanced male XLR jack, and its level can be set to Line or Mic internally. Key features include eight XLR microphone inputs, trim and tone controls, individually switchable +48 VDC phantom power, eight 1/4” unbalanced inputs that can be re - configured, RCA Prefader Output for multiple uses, RCA Aux Buss Input, and selectable Mic or Line output level. Technical specs: Input Impedance - Mic: 10K Ohms XLR balanced, 1/4”: 20K Ohms unbalanced, Bus Input: 10K Ohms unbalanced; Max Input Level - Mic: 0 dBV balanced, Line: +6 dBV; Input Connectors - 8 XLR, 8 1/4” (Line), 1 RCA (Bus input); Outputs - XLR bal., RCA unbalanced Prefade out; Max Gain - Mic: 55 dB, Line: 26 dB; Tone Control - 12 dB Treble/Bass cut; Phantom Power - +48 VDC; Output Level - +22 dBV max; Output Impedance - 51 Ohms; Phase Shift - <10 degrees, 20Hz to 20 kHz; Max S/N ratio - 106 dB; THD - <.009%; CMRR - >80 dB (Mic); Size - 19” x 1.75” x 6” (48.3 x 4.5 x 15 cm); Weight - 7 lbs. (3 kg).

Using the Rolls RM82 mixer is a breeze. First, connect your microphones to the XLR inputs or use the 1/4” unbalanced inputs for other sources. If you need to process individual channel signals, set the 1/4” jacks as Inserts. For just getting the channel signal, use Direct Outputs. Switch on the +48 VDC phantom power for each channel as needed. To cascade two RM82 units, connect the RCA Prefade Output to the RCA Aux Buss Input. You can also use the RCA Prefade Output for recording or monitoring. When it comes to the main output, choose between Line or Mic level as per your requirements. Here are some important notes. Make sure to check the input and output levels before starting a performance or recording. Avoid overloading the inputs as it can cause distortion. For maintenance, keep the mixer in a clean and dry place. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth regularly. If there are any signs of damage or malfunction, it's best to have it checked by a professional.
