Product Description

The Digital Forecast M-DA is a top - notch serial digital video distribution amplifier from the Bridge M Series (Micro Type Converters). It takes a single SDI signal and distributes it to up to three devices, supporting SD, HD, and 3G - SDI standards. This amplifier can distribute SDI SMPTE standard signals up to 1080p60 format. With a built - in re - clocker and cable equalizer, it ensures signal accuracy up to 100m/328ft in HD. Key features include: an HD/SDI distribution function, an internal cable equalizer and re - clocker, a reach of up to 100m (HD grade) and up to 60m (3G grade), 1 HD/SDI input that accepts all standard SD/HD/3G formats, 3 HD - SDI outputs for all standard SD/HD/3G formats, and a wide DC 5V - 24V operating range. Technical specs: Physical dimensions are 68 x 59.2 x 20 mm (2.7' x 2.3' x 1'), it weighs 90g (3.2 oz), runs on +12 VDC, has a power consumption of up to 4Watts, can operate at temperatures from - 20° to 70°, and in humidity from 0 to 95% RH (non - condensing). It supports multi - rate SDI formats including various SMPTE standards.

Using the Digital Forecast M - DA is easy. First, connect your single SDI signal source to the HD/SDI input. Then, connect up to three devices to the HD - SDI outputs. Make sure to use the appropriate cables for the best results. The amplifier can work with a power supply in the range of DC 5V to 24V, so choose a suitable power source. When it comes to temperature, keep it in an environment between - 20° and 70°. Avoid using it in extremely humid conditions (above 95% RH) as it may cause damage. For maintenance, keep the amplifier clean and dust - free. If it's not working properly, check the power connection and cable connections first. If the issue persists, it might be a problem with the internal components, and you should contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
