The fiber optic cable used in this isolator is immune to interference from impulse noise, crosstalk, or EMI. It also enhances communication privacy as it doesn't radiate any emissions. Moreover, fiber optic cable can transmit data over much longer distances compared to copper wiring. Traditional T3 coax cabling has a maximum distance limit of 1100ft (335m), but this unit's multimode optics can extend the distance to 2km, and singlemode optics can reach up to 20km.
