Using this Freakshow HD Switch is a breeze. First, connect your four input sources to the 4 selectable HD-SDI or SDI ports using BNC cables. Then, plug the output cable into the single output port. To choose which input to use, just tap the top-mounted touchpad. It's that simple!
When it comes to power, you have options. You can use the internal Lithium Polymer battery, which gives you up to 6 hours of run-time. If you need longer use, connect it to an external power source with the 12 - 36 Volt DC power. The locking power connector ensures a stable connection.
Keep an eye on the battery indicator. When the internal LED starts blinking, it means the battery is at 15% capacity. If it blinks faster, the battery is running out. You can charge the battery while the device is still in use.
The AC adaptor is included for charging. When you plug it in, the power switch will light up. Once the charging is complete, it will turn off.
For maintenance, make sure to keep the device clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. The battery is rated for a minimum of 500 charge cycles, so take good care of it to ensure a long lifespan.
