Product Description
The Osprey Video VB-UH is an outstanding HDMI to USB 3.0 video capture device. The VB-UH USB Video Bridge series comes in 3G - SDI and HDMI models, offering great adaptability for complex workflows. It directly connects to your computer's USB 3.0 port and is truly plug - and - play. No drivers are needed on Windows, Linux, or Mac OS X. It has two control modes to meet different user needs. In software control mode, it passes all available rates and resolutions to the capture software. Manual mode allows you to pre - select a frame rate and resolution, giving you control over the USB bus load. Technical details include a wide range of video formats out (YUV 422) with frame rates of 24, 25, 30, 50, 60 and multiple resolutions. It has HDMI 1.3a RGB 4:4:4 video input and 2 - Channel HDMI Embedded Audio at a 48kHz sample rate. The interfaces are full - size HDMI and Micro B USB3.0 UVC/UAC compliant. It's 4' x 2.4' x 0.65' in size, weighs 0.25lb (0.17kg), and is 5V USB powered with a 4.5W max power consumption.
Using the Osprey Video VB - UH is a breeze. First, connect the device directly to your computer's USB 3.0 port. Since it's plug - and - play, you don't need to install any drivers on Windows, Linux, or Mac OS X. For software control mode, just let the device pass all available rates and resolutions to your capture software. If you prefer more control, use the manual mode to pre - select the frame rate and resolution that suits your needs. When handling the device, be gentle as it's relatively small and lightweight. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. To keep it in good condition, clean it with a soft, dry cloth regularly. Make sure to unplug it properly when not in use to prevent any power - related issues.
