Product Description

The Rolls MS111 is an outstanding general - purpose microphone muting switch. It smoothly passes phantom power without any popping on the outputs, ensuring a clean audio experience. You can easily configure it. There's a second switch on the side of the unit that lets you choose between Push to Mute or Release to Mute modes. The mute switch can be set to Momentary (check the manual), and it comes set to latching from the factory. It only works with balanced signals. Key features include passing phantom power, having balanced female XLR input and male XLR output jacks. The activation switch offers both latching and momentary mute options. The reversible activation switch means the 'Up' position can turn the mic on or off. It can also be stand - mounted with the Rolls MSC106 mic mount accessory. Technical specs: Input/Output Impedance is 600 Ohms, it has 2 XLR connections (1 male, 1 female), size is 2.5” W x 2” H x 3” D, and it weighs 1 lb.

Using the Rolls MS111 is easy. First, connect your microphone to the female XLR input and the audio device to the male XLR output. To mute or unmute the microphone, use the activation switch on the front. You can change the switch mode to your preference using the second switch on the side. Remember, this switch only works with balanced signals, so make sure your equipment is compatible. When you're done using it, unplug it properly to avoid any electrical issues. To keep it in good condition, clean it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you want to mount it on a stand, use the Rolls MSC106 mic mount accessory.
