Product Description

The TOA Electronics IP - A1AF is a top - notch PoE - powered audio interface. It efficiently decodes IP audio streams into analog audio signals. With a built - in 15 W amplifier, it can drive low - impedance speakers. It also has internal storage for up to 20 audio files. You can connect analog audio and control outputs to an external amplifier. This interface supports the SIP protocol for easy integration with VoIP devices. It comes with 20 multicast ports for group paging. It can receive broadcasts from Video Management Systems via ONVIF backchannel. You can control the device and integrate it into your system through a remote API (HTTP) or local control inputs. **Key Features** - Receive SIP audio, ONVIF Audio Backchannel and Multicast. - Do local broadcast using internal audio files or a local audio source. - Has 1 audio input (LINE/MIC selectable, phantom power On/Off). - 8W (PoE)/15W(PoE+) built - in amplifier and 1 LINE audio output. - 2 control inputs and 1 control output. - Receives HTTP commands. - Stores audio files (20 files, total 80MB, WAV/MP3). - Offers playback programs (Repeat, Weekly Timer). - Runs on PoE/PoE+ power. **Technical Specifications** - **Power Source**: PoE+ (IEEE802.3at Class 4), PoE (IEEE802.3af Class 3). - **Power Consumption**: 22 W (at PoE+ powered, rated output), 12.95 W (at PoE powered, rated output), 5 W (IEC62368 - 1). - **Amplifier Rated Output**: 15 W (at PoE+, powered, 8 Ω), 8 W (at PoE, powered, 8 Ω), applicable impedance: 8 - 16 Ω. - **Frequency Response**: 50 Hz - 20 kHz. - **Audio Codec**: PCMU (G.711u), PCMA (G.711a), G.722. - **Audio Delay Time**: Min. 100 ms (*1). - **Broadcasting Mode**: SIP Broadcasting/SIP calling Mode (PCMU/PCMA/G.722, P2P/SIP Server Connection), Multicast Broadcasting Mode (PCMU/PCMA/G.722 Auto codec recognition, 20 ports), VMS Broadcasting Mode (ONVIF Audio Backchannel, PCMU), Internal Message Broadcasting Mode, Local Broadcasting Mode (Output from LINE/MIC IN to SPEAKER OUT). Using the TOA Electronics IP - A1AF audio interface is a breeze. First, connect it to your network using the RJ45 connector. You can choose between PoE or PoE+ power, depending on your needs. Once it's powered on, you can start setting it up. If you want to play audio, you can either use the internal storage to store up to 20 audio files or connect a local audio source. Select the appropriate audio input (LINE or MIC) on the device. You can also adjust the volume and turn the phantom power on or off if needed. For group paging, use the 20 multicast ports. And if you want to integrate it with VoIP devices, the SIP protocol support makes it easy. You can also receive broadcasts from Video Management Systems via the ONVIF backchannel. When it comes to controlling the device, you have two options. You can use the local control inputs or the remote API (HTTP). This allows you to manage things like playback programs, repeat settings, and interval times. **Note**: Make sure the device is within the operating temperature range of - 30 Degrees C to +55 Degrees C and the operating humidity of 90 %RH or less without condensation. Also, during a power outage, the device can retain RTC time for 24 hours at 40 Degrees C. **Maintenance**: Keep the device clean by gently wiping it with a dry cloth. Check the connections regularly to ensure they are secure. If you need to replace any accessories like the terminal plugs, make sure to use the correct ones that come with the device.
