The Allen & Heath SQ Dante Module offers a fantastic solution for SQ mixers. It provides a complete 64 - 64 channel interface at 96kHz or 48kHz to a Dante network. An SQ mixer with the Dante option card can smoothly connect to amplifiers, preamps, and other devices on the Dante network, taking full advantage of SQ's high - resolution 96kHz audio. The SQ Dante card can be easily switched between 96kHz and 48kHz to fit Dante networks running at either sample rate. Besides making system integration easier, it also allows for digital splits and cost - effective multitrack recording directly to a computer. Key features include 64 - 64 channel audio and control over a network, 96kHz or 48kHz operation, two ports with redundant and switch modes, an internal control network bridge, locking Ethercon connectors, Dante Domain Manager readiness, and AES67 compatibility.

Using the Allen & Heath SQ Dante Module is straightforward. First, install the Dante option card in your SQ mixer. Then, connect it to the Dante network using the locking Ethercon connectors. You can choose between 96kHz or 48kHz operation according to the sample rate of your Dante network. To use it for multitrack recording, simply connect the mixer to your computer. When using the module, make sure to keep the network stable. Check the connection of the Ethercon connectors regularly to avoid disconnection.
