Product Description

For businesses and organizations with HDBaseT installations, upgrading to new infrastructure can be a headache due to complexity and high costs. The Matrox ConvertIP SRST transmitter/receiver is here to solve this problem. It allows you to expand your existing HDBaseT network by integrating HDBaseT content with the IP network, all without the need to upgrade your current equipment or infrastructure. Built on open standards, it's also compatible with SMPTE ST 2110 networks. **Rack Mountable**: You can horizontally install up to two ConvertIP devices in a single U of rack space. It's a stand-alone appliance that fits in a 1U 1/2 rack width. With whisper-quiet operation, it's perfect for control rooms and other critical environments where noise levels need to be 25 dB or less. **Always Powered, Always On**: Protect against power outages. Matrox offers rack-mounted, multi-output redundant power supply units (RPSU) to ensure continuous operation in case of power module failure or a tripped circuit breaker. **Key Features**: - HDBaseT I/O - 1x SFP28 (supports 10G & 25G networks) - 1x RJ45 (supports 1G & 2.5G networks) - 1/10/25 GbE interface - Fanless design for quiet cooling - Power redundancy with PoE+ and a locking AC power connector (optional power supply cable sold separately) - Optional bracket for VESA mounting behind monitors - Optional 1 RU rack shelf for three appliances - Optional fault-tolerant, hot-swappable, and rack-mountable power supply - Leverage existing HDBaseT installations - Transmit or receive signals from a single device - Optimized 4K image quality and low latency - Colibri codec for high-quality compressed media transmission - Optional JPEG XS codec license for uncompressed media - IPMX ready - Free ConvertIP Command Center web interface for device management - Easy to deploy - Based on open standards and directly compatible with SMPTE ST 2110 networks - Automated & standardized discovery based on AMWA NMOS

Using the Matrox ConvertIP SRST transmitter/receiver is easy. First, connect your HDBaseT devices to the appropriate HDBaseT I/O ports on the device. Then, connect it to your IP network using either the SFP28 port for high - speed 10G or 25G networks or the RJ45 port for 1G or 2.5G networks. When it comes to power, you can use PoE+ or the locking AC power connector. Just make sure to use the optional power supply cable if needed. If you're installing it in a rack, you can install up to two devices horizontally in a single U of rack space. You can also use the optional 1 RU rack shelf to hold three appliances. For mounting behind monitors, use the optional VESA mounting bracket. To manage the device, use the free ConvertIP Command Center web interface. As for maintenance, since it has a fanless design, there's less risk of dust accumulation. But still, keep it in a clean environment. Check the power supply regularly, especially if you're using the redundant power options. In case of a power module failure or a tripped circuit breaker, the redundant power supply should keep the device running, but it's a good idea to replace any faulty parts as soon as possible.
