Product Description

The Ashly Protea 3.6SP DSP Loudspeaker System Processor is a top - notch choice for both live sound setups and fixed installations in places like worship facilities, schools, and performance spaces. With 3 inputs and 6 outputs, it offers greater flexibility compared to many processors that only have 2 inputs. It comes with the full Protea DSP Suite, including crossover, equalization, compressor/limiter, and delay functions with up to 682ms on both input and output, making it ideal as a front - end processor for delay stacks. The 3.6SP has front panel controls for quick access to settings during live performances. You can program the processor via Ashly's Protea Software using the front and rear panel USB ports, and set a password - protected security system to prevent unauthorized changes. Key features include an intuitive front panel parameter control, single rack space with XLR audio connections, a wide range of functions like crossover, EQ, delay, and limiter, assignable inputs to any output, front panel or PC programming with 4 - level security, USB and RS - 232 interfaces with a USB - A to USB - B cable included, compatibility with third - party controls, balanced inputs and outputs, parametric filters, and advanced feedback controls, along with Linkwitz - Riley, Bessel, and Butterworth filters.

Using the Ashly Protea 3.6SP is quite straightforward. First, connect your audio sources to the inputs and your speakers to the outputs using the XLR audio connections. If you want to quickly adjust settings during a live performance, use the front panel controls. For more detailed programming, connect the processor to your PC via the USB ports and use Ashly's Protea Software. You can set up a password for security to make sure no one makes unwanted changes. When it comes to maintenance, keep the unit in a clean and dry place. Regularly check the cables for any signs of damage. Avoid exposing the processor to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you encounter any issues, refer to the user manual or contact Ashly's customer support.
