Product Description

The BirdDog SDM Family, built on the Intel SDM platform, is set to transform content distribution, even for large - scale installations. Simply install the SDM module in an SDM - compatible flat - panel display to get the most integrated and scalable NDI - to - screen solution. You no longer need wall boxes or patch panels as AV distribution is now built directly into the display. Controlled by the all - in - one BirdDog OS, with two modules (M1 and M2) to choose from, there's a perfect solution for every project. The M1, based on the Intel SDM - L form factor, is a full NDI sender and receiver. The M2, built on the Intel SDM - S module, is an NDI receiver. Supporting resolutions up to 4Kp60, it also has a RESTful API for automated spaces. BirdDog OS, a complete operating system for the Intel SDM platform, offers a truly integrated NDI distribution system with built - in Crestron control and a RESTful API for full automation. The M1 can receive NDI from anywhere on the network for on - screen display and send content from a source like a laptop to multiple BirdDog - activated screens. Powered by Intel, the M1 and M2 ensure top - notch performance and reliability. With NDI power, BirdDog Display can access numerous NDI sources on the network. Switching sources is a breeze thanks to the clean and intuitive BirdDog OS interface. Key feature: It has an HDMI 1.4 format on the internal connector.

Using the BirdDog BDSDM1 - HDMI module is easy. First, find an SDM - compatible flat - panel display and install the module inside it. Once installed, connect it to your network. If you're using the M1, you can receive NDI content from anywhere on the network to show on the screen. To send content, just plug a source such as a laptop into the module. When using multiple sources, you can use a remote control or any pointing device to switch between them. As for maintenance, keep the module in a clean and dry environment. Make sure the network it's connected to is stable. Periodically check the HDMI connection to ensure it's secure. If you encounter any issues, refer to the built - in Crestron control or use the RESTful API for further assistance.
