Product Description

The DigitaLinx DL - FHD2 is an amazing two - fiber 18G HDMI extender. It can transmit HDMI 2.0 signals at speeds up to 18Gbps over a distance of 1000 feet. Besides extending high - bandwidth HDMI signals, it also extends IR and RS232 control. It's ARC - compatible and supports both static and dynamic HDR, including Dolby Vision. To use this extender, you'll need a duplex LC multimode OM3 fiber optical cable for HDMI and control extension. Key features include: it comes with a transmitter, receiver, 2 power supplies, mounting tabs, and an IR flasher/receiver; a duplex LC multimode OM3 fiber optic cable is required for extensions up to 300m/1000'; it fully supports uncompressed HDMI 2.0b at 18Gbps with HDR support; it extends bi - directional IR and RS232 pass - through control; and it supports the audio return channel (ARC), sending digital audio back to the transmitter from the display.

Using the DigitaLinx DL - FHD2 is easy. First, make sure you have a duplex LC multimode OM3 fiber optic cable. Connect the transmitter to your source device and the receiver to your display. Plug in the power supplies for both the transmitter and receiver. Once everything is connected, turn on your devices. The extender will automatically start transmitting HDMI 2.0 signals. For control functions, use the IR and RS232 connections as needed. Remember, always handle the fiber optic cable with care to avoid damage. When not in use, store the extender in a dry and cool place. Regularly check the connections to ensure they are secure. If you encounter any issues, check the power supplies and cable connections first.
