Product Description

The Bridge RS 8x4 serves as a remarkable 'Routing Switcher', offering support for 8x4 SDI video input/output along with 1 HDMI output. This amazing model can automatically recognize SD, HD, and 3Gb/s SDI signals. It then converts and provides reclocking output, and can switch the vertical sync of the reference. Additionally, it comes with a button lock function in RCP and Preset Set for user convenience. Key features include support for SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 344M, SMPTE 259M, and SMPTE 424M. It offers re - clocking, multi - rate SDI support (143M, 177M, 270M, 340M, 540M, 1.485G, 1.485/1.001G, 2.97G), 3G/HD/SD - SDI 8 in x 4 out, and 1 HDMI output. It has auto - equalizing (HD grade can compensate for up to 100m, SD for up to 300m of Belden 1694 Cable), RS - 422 deck control ports (RJ45), and includes a DC12V 3.33A power supply.

Using the Digital Video Forecast Bridge RS 8X4 HD SDI Routing Switcher is quite straightforward. First, connect your SDI video sources to the 8 SDI input ports. If you want to use an HDMI - compatible device, connect it to the single HDMI output port. You can then use the RCP and Preset Set buttons to control the routing and switching functions. When using the device, make sure it's connected to a stable DC12V 3.33A power supply. Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or humidity as this could damage the internal components. For maintenance, keep the device clean and dust - free. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. If you notice any issues with signal quality, check the cable connections first. And remember, the auto - equalizing feature can help compensate for signal loss over long cable lengths, but make sure you don't exceed the specified cable lengths for HD and SD signals.
