Product Description

The Intelix INT-HDXL100-TX is a top - notch HDBaseT transmitter. It uses the Valens VS100TX HDBaseT chip to extend HDMI over a single solid - core shielded Category 5e or better cable. This device supports 1080p video signals up to 150 meters (492 feet), along with multichannel audio and HDCP 1.4/2.2. With built - in surge protection and diagnostic LEDs, it ensures a smooth and reliable installation. Key features of this extender series include power over HDBaseT (PoH), bidirectional IR, bidirectional RS232, and Ethernet pass - through with a 2 - port network switch. The flexible power design allows the INT-HDXL100 series extenders to be powered at either the TX or RX end, and only one power supply (included) is needed. The bidirectional wideband IR, bidirectional RS232, and Ethernet pass - through make it compatible with most control systems. The IR emitter (DIGIB - EMT) and IR receiver (DIGIB - EYE) are sold separately. The 2 - port network switch on the INT-HDXL100 - TX enables a second device to share the 100BaseT Ethernet pass - through connection without extra hardware in the installation. It's only compatible with other HDBaseT devices in Long Reach mode, like Intelix's INT - HDXL100 and DIGI - HDXL series products.

Using the Intelix INT-HDXL100-TX is easy. First, connect it to a single solid - core shielded Category 5e or better cable. You can power the extender at either the TX or RX end using the included power supply. Connect your HDMI source to the transmitter and your display to the corresponding receiver. The bidirectional IR and RS232 features let you control connected devices. If you want to connect a second device to the Ethernet, just use the 2 - port network switch on the INT-HDXL100 - TX. When installing, make sure the cable is properly shielded to avoid interference. Since it has built - in surge protection, it's somewhat protected against power surges, but it's still a good idea to use a surge protector for extra safety. The diagnostic LEDs will help you quickly spot any issues. For maintenance, keep the device clean and dust - free. Check the connections regularly to ensure they are secure. If you need to use the IR function, you'll have to buy the IR emitter (DIGIB - EMT) and IR receiver (DIGIB - EYE) separately.
