The Kramer TP-582T is a high - performance 2 to 1 HDMI switcher and transmitter that lets you transmit HDMI, Ethernet 100BaseT, RS - 232, and IR input signals. It takes one of the two HDMI inputs and converts it, along with Ethernet, RS - 232, and IR signals, into a twisted pair signal. With a maximum data transfer rate of up to 2.25 Gbps over a distance of up to 330’ (100m), it offers excellent performance. For the best results, use shielded twisted pair (STP) cables like Kramer's BC - DGKat524, BC - DGKat623, or BC - DGKat723. This transmitter supports HDMI v.1.4 with Deep Color, x.v.Color, Lip Sync, HDMI Uncompressed Audio Channels, Dolby TrueHD, DTS - HD, CEC, and 3D Pass - through. The EDID PassThru feature helps pass EDID/HDCP signals from the source to the display. The 100BaseT Ethernet interface ensures efficient data and video signal transfer. The bidirectional RS - 232 interface allows two - way command and data flow, enabling status requests and control of the destination unit. You can also control the device via front - panel buttons.
