Product Description

The Marshall Electronics CV504-WP is an all-weather micro POV camera. It features a durable aluminum alloy body, a weatherproof breakout cable, and flexible interchangeable lenses. The new Sony sensors offer rich, accurate 10-bit 4:2:2 video with improved low-light sensitivity. In low light (0.01Lux), it provides clear HD images, and can switch to night mode (0.005Lux) to capture IR wavelengths in complete darkness. It comes with a high-quality 4.0mm (85° H.AOV) prime lens, and there are many other M12 prime and varifocal lenses available. With a 10-foot (3m) breakout cable, it has excellent low-light performance and remote adjust & match capabilities. It offers multiple resolutions and framerates, and can be controlled remotely. It also has a power draw of 2.64W (max 6W) with 7 - 15V flexibility, providing broadcast-quality performance at an affordable price.

Using the Marshall Electronics CV504-WP is quite straightforward. First, connect the 10-foot weatherproof IP67 breakout cable to the BNC, RS485, and power sources. Make sure your power supply is within the 7 - 15V range. You can start with the included 4.0mm - 85° H.AOV lens, but if you have specific needs, you can swap it out for other M12 lenses. When it comes to image settings, you can use the CV-RCP-V2, Camera Control Software, or 3rd party sources like Cyanview and Skaarhoj to make remote adjustments and matches. For different lighting conditions, the camera can handle low light well and even switch to night mode. Just be aware that in extremely harsh weather, although the camera is all-weather, it's still a good idea to protect it from direct and prolonged exposure to very heavy rain or extreme cold. To maintain the camera, keep it clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the lens and body. Also, store it in a dry and cool place when not in use.
