Product Description

The Nimbus WiMi5200 Wireless 3G - SDI H.264 Encoder/Decoder Set is an outstanding point - to - point Wi - Fi transmission system. It offers an amazing 1968 - foot range over 5 GHz Wi - Fi and an incredibly low latency of just 30ms. With built - in 5 GHz Wi - Fi in both units, there's no need for an extra network connection. The transmitter takes up to a 1080p60 SDI signal, encodes it into an H.264 signal, and sends it. The receiver then decodes this signal and outputs it as video. The transmitter has a 3G/HD/SD - SDI input and a loop output, while the receiver has a single 3G/HD/SD - SDI output. This bundle comes with one L - series battery plate for the transmitter and a power adapter for the receiver. Both units can also get continuous power through 2 - pin LEMO inputs. They even have a 1/4' - 20 mounting thread at the bottom, and you can select the Wi - Fi frequency and encoding rate with a DIP switch.

Using the Nimbus WiMi5200 Transmission System Bundle is easy. First, connect your video source to the 3G/HD/SD - SDI input on the transmitter. If you want to pass the signal through, use the loop output. For the receiver, connect it to your display device via the 3G/HD/SD - SDI output. You can power the transmitter with the L - series battery plate or the 2 - pin LEMO input. The receiver can be powered by the included power adapter or the 2 - pin LEMO input too. When using it, keep the transmitter and receiver within the 1968 - foot range for the best performance. To adjust the Wi - Fi frequency and encoding rate, use the DIP switch. For maintenance, keep the units clean and dry. Don't expose them to extreme temperatures or humidity. If there's a problem, check the connections first. If issues persist, contact customer support.
