Product Description

Primacoustic RX5 Upward-Firing Recoil Stabilizer, 7.5 x 9.5-Inch

The Recoil Stabilizer is an outstanding nearfield monitor platform. It combines four key elements to deliver an excellent performance.

Key Features

  • Retention Pad: A thin, non-slip neoprene surface that firmly holds the nearfield monitor on top, ensuring maximum signal transfer.
  • Steel Platform: A laser-cut ¼” (6mm) steel platform provides the necessary stabilizing mass, keeping the nearfield monitor securely in place.
  • Curved Front Panel: The curved front panel gets rid of standing waves and adds mass to the platform without taking up more space.
  • Isolation Foam: High-density open-cell acoustic foam offers great acoustic isolation, preventing coupling between the loudspeaker and the shelf.

Using the Primacoustic RX5 Upward - Firing Recoil Stabilizer is easy. First, place the stabilizer on a flat and stable surface. Then, gently put your near - field monitor on the retention pad at the top. Make sure it sits securely. When it comes to maintenance, you can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the steel platform and the neoprene retention pad. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they might damage the materials. For the high - density foam base, be careful not to get it wet, as this could affect its acoustic properties. In case of any dust buildup on the foam, you can use a low - power vacuum cleaner on a gentle setting to remove it. Always keep the stabilizer away from sharp objects to prevent scratches or cuts on the platform and the foam.
