Product Description

The Yamaha HS8I Black Nearfield Powered Studio Monitor is a top - notch audio device. The HS Series comes with newly developed transducers. These transducers use an advanced magnetic field design, ensuring seamless and natural sonic transitions across a wide bandwidth. Every component has been carefully re - examined and optimized for accurate signal reproduction throughout the audio spectrum. The enclosures are made of dense and resilient MDF, with a damped acoustic response ideal for reference monitors. Thanks to Yamaha's over 100 years of piano design experience, a traditional three - way mitered - joint technique is used, enhancing durability and reducing unwanted resonance. Key features include a black color, an 8' cone woofer and 1' dome tweeter in a 2 - way bass - reflex bi - amplified system. It has a frequency response from 38Hz - 30kHz (-10dB) and 47Hz - 24kHz (-3dB), and a 75W LF plus 45W HF bi - amp system for 120W power. It also has ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM controls, accepts balanced or unbalanced signals via XLR and TRS phone jacks, and has mounting points on 4 surfaces. The packaging is single.

Using your Yamaha HS8I studio monitor is quite straightforward. First, connect it to your audio source using the XLR or TRS phone jack inputs. You can use balanced or unbalanced signals according to your needs. Once connected, plug in the power cord and switch it on. The white LED will indicate that the power is on. You can adjust the sound using the ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM controls. The ROOM CONTROL helps you adapt the sound to your room environment, while the HIGH TRIM fine - tunes the high - frequency sound. When it comes to placement, you can use the mounting points on the four surfaces to install it on a stand, wall, or ceiling with the appropriate brackets. For maintenance, keep the monitor in a clean and dry place. Wipe it gently with a soft cloth regularly. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you're not using it for a long time, unplug the power cord. Make sure to read the owner's manual for more detailed instructions and safety information.
