The AJA OG-12G-AMA is an outstanding openGear device. It's an 8-channel analog audio embedder and disembedder that supports 12G-SDI input and output up to 4K/UltraHD. It can automatically detect and configure to the input video standard. With 3-pin terminal block connectors, you can set them for audio input or output. You can select analog audio levels and choose audio embedding or disembedding on a channel pair basis. It can either pass 12G-SDI input audio or embed input analog audio from the connectors. Designed for high-density openGear 2RU frames like AJA’s OG-X-FR, it offers great flexibility. The Ross DashBoard Software, which supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, allows for easy configuration, monitoring, and control via a connected computer or local network. Key features include being a 12G-SDI analog audio embedder/disembedder, having 8-channel balanced analog audio I/O, 8x 3-Pin Terminal Block connectors, compatibility with multiple openGear frames, monitor and control with Ross DashBoard software, and a max power of 8 watts per card. It supports a wide range of video formats, from SD to 4K, and has various audio features like 24-bit digital audio converters and support for up to 16 channels of embedded audio. It comes with a 5-Year Warranty.

Using the AJA OG-12G-AMA is quite straightforward. First, connect your video source to the 12G-SDI BNC input. Then, use the 3-pin terminal block connectors to set up your audio input or output as needed. You can configure the analog audio levels through the Mini - Config software. When it comes to using the Ross DashBoard software, just connect your computer to the device, either directly or via a local network. This will let you easily monitor and control the card.
