Product Description

The ATEN PE6108A is an intelligent eco PDU featuring 8 AC outlets, available in various IEC or NEMA socket configurations. It offers secure, centralized, and intelligent power management for data center IT equipment like servers, storage systems, KVM switches, and more. You can power devices on, off, or cycle them, and monitor the data center's environmental health via sensors. With remote power control and real - time power measurement, you can easily manage and monitor device power status from anywhere via a TCP/IP connection. Key features include a space - saving 1U rack - mount design with rear mounting, 3 - digit 7 - segment front panel LED for current/IP display, and the ability for remote users to check outlet status on web browsers. It supports safe shutdown, has separate power for the unit and outlets, and offers multiple network interfaces. It also comes with eco PDU power management software and supports SNMP Manager V3.

Using the ATEN PE6108A is straightforward. First, connect your data center IT equipment to the 8 AC outlets. You can choose the IEC or NEMA socket configuration that suits your needs. To manage the power of connected devices, you can use the remote power control feature via a TCP/IP connection. Just access the web pages on your browser to monitor the outlet status. When it comes to maintenance, keep an eye on the 3 - digit 7 - segment front panel LED which shows the current and IP address. Make sure the unit is in a well - ventilated area to avoid overheating. If there's an overload condition that trips the circuit breaker, don't worry, you can still access the user interface as the unit has separate power for itself and the outlets. Also, ensure your network settings match the supported network interfaces for seamless operation. And if you're using the eco PDU power management software, keep it updated for the best performance.
