Using the AVer Pro2 CAM520 is easy. First, set up the camera. You can use the included wall - mount bracket to fix it on the wall. There are also optional TV and ceiling mounts if you prefer other setups. Connect the power adapter to the camera and plug it into a power source. You can also use PoE+ for power if your network supports it.
For video connection, use the USB3.1 Type - B cable to connect the camera to your computer. Make sure your computer meets the system requirements, like having Windows 7/10, Mac OS X 10.7 or higher, or a Google Chromebook with version 76.0.3809.136 or later. Also, use a compatible web browser such as Chrome (version 76.x or above) or Firefox (version 69 or above).
When in a meeting, the SmartFraming feature will automatically adjust the focus and track the presenter. You can also use the IR remote control to manually adjust settings like pan, tilt, and zoom. If you want to connect it to other control systems, use the Mini DIN9 for RS232 in & out connection or Visca over IP.
Here are some important notes. Don't expose the camera to extreme temperatures. The operating temperature should be between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius, and the storage temperature between - 20 and 60 degrees Celsius. Keep the humidity between 20 and 80% for both operation and storage.
For maintenance, keep the camera lens clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it gently. Regularly check the cables for any signs of damage. If you need to upgrade the firmware, you can use the PTZApp2 software, which can upgrade it either automatically or manually. Also, use the EZManager software to manage multiple cameras if you have them, including remotely upgrading firmware and adjusting settings.
