Product Description

The Kramer 4X1VB is an outstanding 4 - to - 1 mechanical switcher crafted for composite video signals using BNC connectors. It can handle up to four inputs, and you can easily select any input to be sent to one output via the buttons on the side panel. High - quality switching components ensure low crosstalk and high bandwidth. With its passive design, there's no need for a power supply. Unselected inputs are automatically terminated with 75 - ohm resistors. This switcher belongs to the Kramer TOOLS family, offering compact, high - quality, and cost - effective solutions for various applications. Key features include a 400MHz (-3dB) high bandwidth, video on BNC connectors, mechanical (passive) switching that needs no power, and it's compact enough that 3 units can be rack - mounted side - by - side in a 1U rack space with the optional RK - 3T rack adapter. Technical specs: Input is 4 video, 1Vpp/75 on BNC connectors; output is 1 composite or single - component video, 1Vpp/75 on a BNC connector. Bandwidth is 400MHz, the switching system is mechanical break - before - make. It measures 12cm x 7.5cm x 2.5cm (4.7” x 2.95” x 0.98”) in size and weighs about 0.28kg (0.62lbs). Accessories include a mounting bracket, and there's an RK - 3T 19' rack adapter as an option.

Using the Kramer 4X1VB is a breeze. First, connect your composite video sources to the four input BNC connectors. Then, use the buttons on the side panel to choose which input you want to send to the output BNC connector. Since it's a passive device, there's no need to plug it into a power source. When using, make sure all connections are secure to avoid signal issues. Also, don't overload the input sources beyond what it's designed for. For maintenance, keep it in a clean and dry environment. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it clean if it gets dirty. If you plan to rack - mount it, use the optional RK - 3T 19' rack adapter and follow the installation instructions carefully.
