The brand-new Cobalt 9933-EMDE-ADDA is a high-efficiency openGear card that offers flexible AES and analog audio embedding and de-embedding. It supports 16-channel AES and 8-channel analog audio in one card, enabling individual per-pair operations and cross-conversions between analog and AES discrete audio. The audio embed adaptive SRC ensures seamless embedding by syncing asynchronous 48 kHz AES audio with video timing. It also auto-detects and disables SRC for Dolby pairs. With a full audio crosspoint, it provides per-channel gain and routing controls and built-in tone generators. You can save custom settings and revert to factory defaults easily. It can be controlled remotely via Dashboard software or OGCP-9000 panels. This low-power card (less than 18 Watts) comes with a 5-year warranty.

Using this Cobalt Digital card is straightforward. First, connect the SDI inputs and outputs using the 75Ω BNC connectors. Make sure to check the cable length according to the SDI format (3G/HD/SD). For audio, connect the unbalanced AES and balanced analog audio inputs and outputs as needed. Use the per-pair and per-channel port direction controls to set up the audio flow. The Dashboard software or OGCP-9000 remote control panels can be used to monitor and control the card's status.
