Product Description

The Datavideo VP - 597 is an outstanding six - output SDI distribution amplifier featuring A/B inputs switching control (non - locked). It's a great choice for handling 3G/HD/SD SDI video with embedded audio. Thanks to its re - clock design, it ensures reliable long - distance transmission. You can control the two source inputs either via an A/B panel switch or through the GPI remote control interface. This amplifier is perfect for simple A/B source switching to multiple HD displays. It also serves as an excellent backup 3G/HD/SD SDI input sources switcher for live events. Key features include 2 x 3G/HD/SD - SDI inputs, 6 x 3G/HD/SD - SDI distribution outputs with re - clock, support for embedded Audio SDI, two - input video source control by A/B switch or GPI remote (non - locked), and it runs on DC - 12V. Supported video formats include various 3G - SDI, HD - SDI, and SD - SDI standards.

Using the Datavideo VP - 597 is quite straightforward. First, connect your 3G/HD/SD - SDI sources to the two input ports. Then, connect your displays or other devices to the six output ports. You can choose to control the input sources using the A/B panel switch on the amplifier. If you prefer, you can also use the GPI remote control interface for more flexibility. When it comes to power, make sure to use a DC - 12V power supply. As for maintenance, keep the amplifier in a clean and dry environment. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. Regularly check the connections to ensure they are secure. If you encounter any issues, refer to the user manual or contact Datavideo's customer support.
