Product Description

The Digital Forecast Bridge M_OTRS is an outstanding bidirectional converter that transforms 3 SDI signals (one of the SMPTE standards) into optical signals for transmission up to 10 kilometers. It comes in pairs, with the Bridge M_OTR TX for receiving and the Bridge M_OTR RX for sending. Key Features: It supports bidirectional conversion between optical and HD/SDI signals. It uses 1310nm, 1490nm, or 1550nm FP - LD sources. There are 2 HD/SDI selectable inputs for sending SD/HD/3G signals and 1 HD/SDI receiving output. It operates in SMPTE mode and can handle pathological signals. It can reach up to 10 Km using single - mode fiber and has a wide DC 5V - 17V operating range. Technical Specifications: Physically, it has dimensions of 78 x 59.2 x 20 (mm) and weighs 90g. It runs on +12 VDC power with a power consumption of up to 4 Watts. It can work in humidity levels from 0 to 95% RH without condensation. The optic part is SMPTE - compliant, with a maximum of 3 GHz, supporting multi - rate SDI formats and various SMPTE standards like SMPTE 125M, SMPTE 296M, SMPTE - 274M, SMPTE - 292M, and SMPTE - 424M.

Using the Digital Forecast Bridge M_OTRS converter is easy. First, make sure you have both the Bridge M_OTR TX and RX units as they work in pairs. Connect the appropriate SDI signals to the 2 selectable input ports on the TX unit according to your needs, whether it's SD, HD, or 3G. Then, connect the single - mode fiber cable to the optic ports of both units. The converter will automatically convert the SDI signals to optical signals for long - distance transmission up to 10 kilometers. When using it, ensure that the power supply is within the 5V - 17V DC range. Don't expose the device to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. For maintenance, keep the device clean and free from dust. Check the fiber connections regularly to make sure they are secure. If you encounter any issues, refer to the technical specifications or contact customer support.
