Product Description

The Kramer PT - 2H is a top - notch equalizer designed specifically for HDMI signals. When you use a long HDMI cable, it often causes digital noise (sparkles) in the video image. This device effectively eliminates that noise, ensuring a crystal - clear video display. Key features include support for resolutions up to 1080p, full compatibility with HDTV, and compliance with HDCP standards. It has a range of up to 38m (120ft) and gets powered directly from the HDMI source. Technically, it has a single type A 19 - pin HDMI connector for both input and output, with a max data rate of 4.95Gbps. It's compliant with HDMI standards and supports all resolutions from VGA up to UXGA, as well as various DTV/HDTV video formats. The product dimensions are 6.22cm x 5.18cm x 2.44cm (2.45' x 2.04' x 0.96' ).

Using the Kramer PT - 2H HDMI Equalizer is easy. First, connect the HDMI cable from your source device (like a TV or a computer) to the input of the PT - 2H. Then, connect another HDMI cable from the output of the PT - 2H to your display device. Since it's powered from the HDMI source, there's no need for an additional power adapter. Just plug it in and you're good to go. When using it, make sure the cable lengths are within the specified range. For 1080p resolution, the maximum range is 38m (120ft), with 23m from the HDMI source to the PT - 2H and 15m from the PT - 2H to the HDMI acceptor. If you have an older model, the distance from the PT - 2H to the HDMI acceptor might be 7m, so check with your local Kramer office. To maintain this device, keep it in a cool and dry place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. Regularly check the cable connections to ensure they are secure and clean. If there are any issues with the video quality, first check the cables and connections before contacting support.
