When paired with another ODT 1510 at a remote site, it can extend serial RS232, RS422, or RS485 connections, along with two GPI (general purpose I/O) connections, up to 10km (6.2 miles) via fiber. This transceiver offers a host of great features. It can extend serial and GPI connections over long distances, supports multiple serial standards, has 2 GPI connections, uses 1310nm single - mode fiber for up to 10km reach, and has LC/PC duplex fiber connections. It also features a switchable RX/TX crossover, automatic or manual data direction control, and switchable end - of - line termination. It's 'Plug and Play', so you don't need PC software drivers. It supports all serial protocols and has auto - sensing and auto - adjusting baud rates from 300 - 460K. Included in the package are 1 ODT 1510 Module, 1 AC Power Supply, 2 Module Mounting Brackets, and 1 Plastic Transport Case.
