The Osprey Video HSC-2 is a compact and powerful HDMI to Dual 3G-SDI mini converter. It features an HDMI 1.3a Type A full - size input with YUV 4:2:2. The dual 3G - SDI output adheres to SMPTE 259/292/424 standards and also uses YUV 4:2:2. It supports a wide range of video formats including 1080p (23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94, 60), 1080i (50, 59.94, 60), 720p (50, 59.94, 60), NTSC, and PAL. Audio can be embedded via SDI or HDMI. It has power and signal lock LED indicators, and its size is 3.54”x1.57”x0.87” (90x40x22mm).
Using the Osprey Video HSC - 2 is easy. First, connect your HDMI source to the HDMI input of the converter. Then, connect your device that supports 3G - SDI to the dual 3G - SDI outputs. When you power it on, check the LED indicators. If the power light is on, it means the converter is getting power. A signal lock light indicates that the converter has successfully locked onto the input signal. When using it, avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. Also, don't subject it to strong impacts. For maintenance, just keep it clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it occasionally. If you're not using it for a long time, store it in a cool, dry place.
